About me and this website
I had a costume website from 2000 until 2004, but it died after having been neglected for a long time. The website showed my first stumbling attempts at making wearable clothing, and my very first attempts at doing historical research. I have learned a few things since then, but I still have a long way to go.
Ironically enough, the old website died about a year after I started larping, a hobby that tends to lead to both sewing and historical research. As a result, I have sewn, assembled and remodelled quite a few costumes. Some might be badly sewn, others may look horrible, but I decided it would be sad to not have a photo collection of costume photos. This is why you are here.
If you wonder why this website is updated so rarely, it's usually because updating a webside is really boring. In addition, there is a rather vague divide between “a costume worthy of being mentioned here”, and “something I assembled from the closet”.
If you want to nag, - feel free to have a look at my blog or ravelry account. It's all in Norwegian, but that doesn't mean you can't comment. Sewing updates in English are posted on livejournal, and if you want to, we can become friends over there.
